not feeling too bright and chipper here. kinda like I am heading into a serious funky hole. Very forboding feelings, about what? I have no idea. the economy i think. yeah, they lowered rates today. that does nothing when the dollar is weak, and when we are headed into a recession. that only spins the wheels faster. I think I have taken on too much work lately and that may be what is getting me down also, the lack of being able to get things done faster. We’ll see how the rest of tonight goes as far as getting some work out the door. we’ll just have to see…

after getting sent an email lat night that one of the WDG list memebrs died, I was hoping for a good day. I had to take Lauren to court in Mass. for 8:45am. 1 hour drive. she thought it would be over quickly. well, she was wrong. We left there at a bit after 3pm. I took her to work, in Providence RI. a long over an hour drive, because there was not enough time to come home to Norwich and get to her job reasonably late. she was a half hour late as it was, but… then there was rush hour traffic in Providence. I cannot keep the car running when it slows or stops. That was a nightmare waiting to happen so I did a sightseeing tour of PRO and took the long way home. I am dog tired, and have a headache. I got NO work done at all today. this sucks. donkey dick.

the frost on the car this morning was heavy. Not the wimpy stuff you get in October, but had to work at getting it off type of frost. First frost. at least the first one that I noticed. it was balmy Saturday. now it has gone to chilly. saw a cute email the other day and it said that if you ever wore shorts and a parka together, you were from New England. ehhh yuhh.

Job… I guess she is leaving, so I am here for a few more weeks. I can use the money, but what is it costing me as far as the business? I have to really buckle down this week to really get some work out the door. I don’t want people to get upset that it is not going as quickly as they need. I need to get a nice new site on the books soon.

and, so I also have to focus on learning, really learning photoshop. really need to understand more than the basics in it. really

got some work done today, not all that I wanted, but enough that I feel OK, and ready to tackle more tomorrow.  we’ll see how the rest of the night goes, and then….

when will it get to being autumn? it got warm again today. sucks actually

I got the second design done for NSA houston… finally. Ran into some bugs, but I learned quite a bit this time. And I hope that they take this one. I have to crank out a bunch of cloned sites this weekend, for my denver guy. Not liking it, but i need the money. funny how needs sometimes whores people.

After two weeks of taking the “city” route to work, following school busses and traffic down Rt12 to the bridge, I woke up Monday and said “wouldn’t it be easier, quicker and less aggravation going up over the hill through the park to the highway?” “Yes” I answered. So I did. Misty morning on Monday, the type of morning when you need to keep the wipers going, but it is not raining, and as I am going around one of the first curves in the park, there are 4 greyish forms in the mist standing right by the side of the road. 4 does, pretty small ones. I slowed and stopped thinking they might just decide to jaywalk. They calmly turned and walked back into the woods. Today, rainy again, but not misty, and two of them were in the same exact place. One with her butt in the road. I slowed and she turned to look at the car, chewing her breakfast all the time. Then both slowly turned into the woods, not running with their flag wagging, but a saunter like saying “hmmm don’t know what this blue thing is, but I’ll just go over here and eat now”

I think I am going to have to really crunch some seat time tonight and into tomorrow to get some things done that are overdue.  uggh.

I have to go shopping tomorrow for something to wear to a party Saturday night. not looking forward to it either.
