and coming down fast and furious. oh boy… I did not go into work. Did not want to listen to the closings, and did not want to drive there just to leave in an hour. Supposed to get a few inches, and then this weekend another storm. oh boy here it comes… oh joy oh joy

Yesterday as I was coming home, I looked up the hil, at the trees. It looked like there was a mist on them, a fog. but it was ice. Nice, not too much like to break limbs and take out power. Just enough to have a glint. As I drove over the hill, on my side of it, there was no ice on the trees. weird. Today when I drove back over, going to work, sure nuff, the other side had the ice. and what looked like shards of glass on the ground underneath, the ice falling off the trees. Coming home, almost the same deal. not as much ice low on the hill, but up the hill there was still ice on trees, while the rest of the world was drying up. And piles of shards at the base of the trees. weird.

So kids are in Caribbean, and lo… there is a tropical storm. Went right over where they were to be today. From the web cam, the boat never docked, and the pics in the afternoon made me believe that there are a number of not so happy people on the boat. pretty large waves, and lots of rain. Tomorrow they are in St Thomas. So that will be better I hope. Boy… a storm this late, who’d thought that would happen huh? poor kids… yeah right

Wp was making me pissed last night, would not fucking post. today it works. what gives?

I did no work this weekend, neither housework or client work nor anything. The foot problem that made my sciatica flare up to unbearable pain ruled the focus. It is better tonight, and maybe I can get some sleep. I think it comes from the crocs. no support for my feet, yea lots of cushion, but no support. I have not been able to sit for long, nor have any sort of focus on things. Slept a bit during the day both days. One thing good I guess.

Blog giving me fits here, wants to download, not post, we’ll see now….

kids are headed on their cruise. fly out of TF Green tmw. Ship sails at 4PM from Miami. they should have a blast. Wish I was going. I need a break! a big one! just hope they stay safe and have a good time.

I neglected to change the “comment” on the database that runs this blog. I was doing some cleanup, and saw it was a joomla dbase.. or so I thought. So I deleted it. OMG, it was taking a break. Fortunately DH does not really delete databases for 5 days. THANK GOD FOR WONDERFUL HOSTS! I was totally heartbroken. Now I am happy dancin. I’ve had a week from hell, and this is the only thing that has gone right all frickin week.

got the new mobo/cpu. set it all up, it do not want to boot. mike says it is because it is a new mobo and winxp. screen says “windows in the middle of upgrade” wonderful, just fucking wonderful. wonderful fantastic. now I’ll have to format the hdd and lose all those programs. My settings. this totally sucks big time dick.

on top of that, the “confrontation” went down last night. His lying to me again. his not being truly committed to “us”. He can be gone. He has the option open now. he canleave if he does not want to respect my wishes. I do not need this crap from him or anyone. Lying is next to killing in my book. It serves no purpose to lie. He can go away now.
