hey! ho! hi!

Published by zenfishing under stuffs

so yeah… i went back to that FTJ. For this week, and next week. They did interview someone today who is confortable with the pay, hours, no bennies. So maybe next week I train her. Whether I do or not, I am so officially gone next week. I had to get a new group started this week, so they could get some funding. 11 new students though. what a energy zap. man…

so, I am trying to get some good work in this weekend, along with some super bowl partying. and get backt o daily postings. I miss my blogging.

Why does AT&T want to know what you’re downloading? - By Tim Wu - Slate Magazine

Why does AT&T want to know what you’re downloading? - By Tim Wu - Slate Magazine

this and my last post are two things that YOU really need to take a look at. It is going to grow and grow unless the Congress assures it’s citizens of Net Neutrality. Can you imagine the power that AT&T will have over you? What happens if someone there is a thief?  What happens if they use information to blackmail you? What happens if the govt decides to subpoena all of AT&T records of everyone’s emails and downloads? If they are going to monitor it all, are they going to filter out the spam?

the win in OT

Published by zenfishing under good stuff

I can believe it now. the giants are going to the superbowl. awesome. Good game, they almost did it to themselves again, but… this team is different. and a rematch of the almost win vs the pats. they can beat the patriots. yes.they.can.

awesome.

I hope it is fixed.

Published by zenfishing under blog and blog some more

I sure hope that this latest DH snafu with this not heavily trafficked blog can continue to run. I went into the dbase tables and “optimized” them. NO idea what that did, but it took out “overhead” or some such term, which is why things got to be crazy. no login etc. So now I am going to build out 67seventhstreet as a complete EE site, and try that out. Then I will do websitearchitects as a wordpressMU site, and see if it can be used on WDG. I do have a license for BigMedium which I may use on WDG, and give it a full try. Put the modblog on it’s own domain. yeah, all these ambitions, but they also need to make me some money. I may also change the theme here.

Anyway, no car until Mike can get to fix it, and that is OK with me. No class stuff anymore, thank god. I hated that in the end. My foot can heal now.
