the thunder started I think about 5 am. it is now 8pm and the day has pretty much had thunder all day long. Nothing wild or wooly, but constant rolling thunder, lightning and rain, not heavy rain, but rain. So the bike ride went by the side. No idea if tomorrow wil bring no thunder, we’ll see.
just bought a 5 day fishing license for colorado. and bought it for a month early. duh. so I have to buy it all over again. I was sorta planning on buying a new laptop before going out, but now I don’t think I will, I’ll wait for the next new macbooks. my lapper is hanging in barely. we’ll nurse it till then.
and am I getting anxious? yep.

New Grocery bag for bike
So I made a promise to myself that I would start doing this. riding the bike. I got a frame pump and this grocery bag today. I just have to get a couple of clamps for the rack to go on the trek. Then I am basically set. Next will be street tires, instead of the knobbies, and then a pair of pedals that have clips on them, instead of my Time ATAC pedals. I know I have a pair of them lying around here, I saw them recently. Just have to go find them in the storage rooms i think, since they are not in my back room.
And then, I will do it. Start by taking a wee trip to the convenience store. then to the grocery store, and then to post office. I will do it.

nah. not really. I could care less right about now. I am focused on getting these damned concepts done and then coded into the templates. the client has not gotten mt the list of pages that they want. this is hurting. I just want to go to Colorado, find a job, sell my house and live in the mountains. I’ll be a happier person.
oh well.

hot
humid
the other day I finally heard the cicada song. This afternoon again. yup, it’s birthday weather. hazy hot and humid. I went outside around 1, and it looked like there was a fog. but it was haze. humidity. and probably real poor air quality. I did a little in the yard, and in the garage. sweat started dripping and stung my eyes. so I retreated back to the house. been going in and out all afternoon, cuz it’s summer and I am supposed to be outside. nature girl.
but happy happy. dumbass put in new plugs and wires and car runs again. I am about to head to the store to do some grocery shopping. so, we will see.
and, well. hell, I need to do some work tonight so I don’t do any tomorrow. but i will.

IDFA - July is National Ice Cream Month
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month as National Ice Cream Day. He recognized ice cream as a fun and nutritious food that is enjoyed by a full 90% of the nation’s population. In the proclamation, President Reagan called for all people of the United States to observe these events with “appropriate ceremonies and activities.”
The International Ice Cream Association (IICA) encourages retailers and consumers to celebrate July as National Ice Cream Month. In 2008, National Ice Cream Day will be Sunday, July 20.
Ya know, as the years go on, I find more and more things about Ronnie that endear him more and more to me. A practical man. A wise man. and whoa! it also happens to fall on my birthday this year. yippeee iiiooooo
mmmm ice cream

When I used to do more radio stuff, one of the DJs on the oldies station had a thing that when he knew I was listening (to go live via phone) or dropping by, he would always play my most hated song. well, one of them. Sugar Sugar by the Archies.
I got a birthday card today from my parents. One of those musical cards. and yes. you guessed right. In all it’s mp3 glory.
I think I will go play some loud grateful dead now

Like what I have said for a long time. They got their foot in the door when they passed the Brady bill. Now it is privacy. No need to have a reason to snoop. just cuz they want to. I hope to hellthat it comes back to bite everyone who voted for it. Including Obama. What an EPIC FAIL on his part. Hillary had the balls to vote against it, and defend our constitution.
