Just a teeny bit of milk. Yeah, sometimes you can get away with just that teeny bit of milk with no repercussions. So you do it.

fast forward 4 hours. You climb into bed, and oops, some of that intolerance slips out of you, but, no matter just a wee bit, and you are sleepy. few minutes later it is forgotten, you roll over to get comfy, raise that blanket back over your shoulder. yup. I am SO THERE.

it’s just been me. have a client who said “mid November is fine” now says he never said that, Needs site done by Nov 10. My contract covers me since it’s timeline is for end of November. He also is wanting things not in contract, but again, the proposal covers them as options and has the time associated with them. So I do a change order today with them. And I agreed to do the timeline, minus the options, as it is, it will be tight and totally time dominating.

sigh.

at least I charged more for this to begin with, as I had radar going off on this. Old people just do not understand computers and I have had to spend time teaching how to use Basecamp. Consulting time. LOL

So……….. uggh shower, then post office, then bank, then back here to get a site launched and bury myself in this jerkface

there is alot of frost outside this morning, I’ll try to get a shot before it melts. letting the dog out made my feet cold, no slippers.
anyway, have to head back to parents today, their cable was out yesterday. Started on Saturday. They called company yesterday. Did they think to call me and not have me come up? ha. So, I go back. Sigh. a break during the day that I do not need. Oh well.

Got nothing done at all this weekend well, a bit of maintenance stuff. Need to get at least ONE concept done for that hog guy. it is making me crazy! Then one for the author. and get catering done, and get christian’s concepts done. Man!!!

ok, off to start my workday.

just pulled in my laundry that got left out overnight. It was nice. Some damp t-shirts are out on the porch line. But as I brought them in, I said to mike “ahhhh you’ll be wearing shirts dried by god” I thought that was cool. As I put his shirts on hangars and then into the closet, I could smell them. So fresh and wonderful. Truly the smell was made by god to get us to use clotheslines

after a good chilling a few weeks ago, autumn gave way to a last gasp of summer. It’s been decently warm over the past 2 weeks. Yesterday that changed. it got autumny. and i don’t think that it is going to warm up until spring now. I had to bump the heat up a tad, after it kicked on yesterday during the day. It was just a bit too cold for my tootsies. So, now it is months until it gets nice out. November always sucks except for turkeyday. December is too busy with the false rushing and promises, January is just a month I would rather skip buy, except that I can’t, Jed’s birthday. How I ever made it thru that last month with him is unknown. So… time to plastic up the windows, put the grill into the garage, break out the boots, and wait til april.

finally after asking various house partners to help me put up a clothesline, over the almost 20 years I have lived in this house, I had enough and I put it up myself. yes, motivated by the sharp rise in my electricity costs these past few months, and also by the fact that my dryer has seen better days, and should be reserved for emergencies only. They can get used to washing clothes on a nice day. and hanging them out.

I am going to go to store and get the last remaining part I need to do parents cable internet install and then get my ass working on this effin design. needs to gets its done tonight!

I got some done. not much done. but well, I did join sierra club today. feel good about that. joined trout unlimited as well. a day to join things I guess.

Now, maybe do some work?

whoa. the layout is all funky, so now instead of working on caterer, I have to fix this. damn. Home page is fine, rest of pages suck. time to copy paste yet again.

had to take dd to new london to see a lawyer, so I am sitting outside of Panera, and just got the go home call, she is set for a ride home later. I hope. So I am going to put this away and head back home. I have the caterer to finish tonight. need to get him out the door this week.

to pick up daughter, and to “watch” apple event.
