so I was noodling around looking for a desktop editor for my blog, and came across flack browser. I can blog from within it. Ecto and MarsEdit are not free, and right now, I can’t afford a kleenix, let alone $20 to pay for an editor for my Mac. soooooo here is a post from flock. Let’s see how good it is

I sure hope that this latest DH snafu with this not heavily trafficked blog can continue to run. I went into the dbase tables and “optimized” them. NO idea what that did, but it took out “overhead” or some such term, which is why things got to be crazy. no login etc. So now I am going to build out 67seventhstreet as a complete EE site, and try that out. Then I will do websitearchitects as a wordpressMU site, and see if it can be used on WDG. I do have a license for BigMedium which I may use on WDG, and give it a full try. Put the modblog on it’s own domain. yeah, all these ambitions, but they also need to make me some money. I may also change the theme here.

Anyway, no car until Mike can get to fix it, and that is OK with me. No class stuff anymore, thank god. I hated that in the end. My foot can heal now.

This guy lives no more than 15, maybe 20 miles from me.

http://www.solostream.com/ He makes some damn fine WP templates. I used to listen to his podcast on solopreneur-ship. Liked what I heard. He sold that site and business, and made some bucks. Way cool.

I am thinking of using the simplicity one for the redo of the WDG web site. See if it works. Or maybe the magazine theme. The ramp up the WDG a bit.

I wonder if I start to bring this blog to a new level, will I get criticized fro “cult of the star” things? Who cares… it is all about bringing value to others, to me, and doing service to others.

I need a favicon… if I want to play in the big leagues, I need a favicon. ooooo yeah…. my martini glass… even though I do not drink. and that reminds me, I saw on chaz’s flikr site her absinthe from last year, and I thinks it is time to order a bottle, and see what it is all about. yeah… gotta find the site she had sent me a long time ago to order (nudge nudge) the one that had the whole things, glass, spoon, and bottle. maybe I pay homage to it as my blog design next month, nah… january, I have next month’s design almost figure out, and december is going to be klitschy-massy.

it’s cool to have a cool favicon.

scribefire plugin… handy dandy, but not so much as the press it button. Probably more for my random thoughts if I have one… “but” you say, “don’t you use w/bloggar?” yes, but it isn’t installed on this computer. So I have scribefire plugin… “oh, ok” you roll your eyes and turn around, walk away. Yes, I know… a PITA geek girl

I guess the import feature of WP is not that great. it only imported up to a year ago, and then only half of the post, and left out good parts. I am going to go searching for something to pull in the old blog posts, but for now, I am just going to link to the old blog, was a good one since 2003…

I have to come up with what I want… but what is that voice? The old one was nice, but I finally tired of it. I may just go ahead and keep it going and forget about this one…
