the thunder started I think about 5 am. it is now 8pm and the day has pretty much had thunder all day long. Nothing wild or wooly, but constant rolling thunder, lightning and rain, not heavy rain, but rain. So the bike ride went by the side. No idea if tomorrow wil bring no thunder, we’ll see.
just bought a 5 day fishing license for colorado. and bought it for a month early. duh. so I have to buy it all over again. I was sorta planning on buying a new laptop before going out, but now I don’t think I will, I’ll wait for the next new macbooks. my lapper is hanging in barely. we’ll nurse it till then.
and am I getting anxious? yep.

IDFA - July is National Ice Cream Month
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month as National Ice Cream Day. He recognized ice cream as a fun and nutritious food that is enjoyed by a full 90% of the nation’s population. In the proclamation, President Reagan called for all people of the United States to observe these events with “appropriate ceremonies and activities.”
The International Ice Cream Association (IICA) encourages retailers and consumers to celebrate July as National Ice Cream Month. In 2008, National Ice Cream Day will be Sunday, July 20.
Ya know, as the years go on, I find more and more things about Ronnie that endear him more and more to me. A practical man. A wise man. and whoa! it also happens to fall on my birthday this year. yippeee iiiooooo

bought a bunch of ribs today, had made a “date” with my son for him to come over for dinner. rubbed the ribs up, and cooked them.He brought over Tascam to see if we could hook it to the Mac, sure could. Had ribs to die for, I make one mean ass rub fer sure, and corn. beer of course. Watching the ballgame after dinner, and he did the “man thing”, fell asleep. Love him to death.

Apple’s MobileMe drops support for IE 6 - (37signals)
And I’m hoping it’s the beginning of a trend. IE 6 is definitely the most painful browser for us to support – it’s seven years old and doesn’t even fully support the CSS 1.0 standard created in 1996. Microsoft’s done an incredibly poor job of getting users to upgrade. It looks like it’s going to take pressure from big apps like MobileMe to seal the deal.
Oh don’t we know THAT!
